jasons band

i think it just sounds depressing. and very uptight too. like he seems like he's got deep issues. and he's just trying to get them vented through his music. which i think it just kinda rediculous. he's not putting anything out positive. like vivek used to put out positive stuff. but this is just like depressing. i think that music thats depressing shouldnt be put out. because all youre doing is spreading your misery. music is supposed to be something that celebrates something. in a way this just comes across as emo. i don't care what other name they give it, it's pretty much emo. what's your take on that?

"I agree with the emo crap. I don't like listening to his music either. It's just... the only reason I knew it was his music is because it sounded so shitty. Like uh, as far as the happy vibe goes that isn't even there. It's all just depression."

This is what the guy i keep telling you about would call irresponsible music. It's not a good thing to spread a bad vibe. It's kinda like counterproductive. Like if you imagine you're in charge of a bunch of people. And you just decide fuck 'em all I'm just going to be depressed. Like look at Obama. He gets alot of criticism but he still gets up in the morning and does his job with a straight face. Like he continues to try and inspire people around the world. The point is, there's a responsible way to do shit, and there's an irresponsible way to do shit. Do shit the wrong way and you can really poison the well. You wanna make sure you're making a postive contribution to society. Like Sigur Ros does. Sigur Ros is probably the most responsible band that i know of in modern times. Music you can take your kids to listen to. Like most people in Iceland really like Sigur Ros. Because that land is basically there to express their love for their country. But its not nationalistic, its something that can translate to any country. Because they're kindof just celebrating the Icelandic vibe.

Like it just sounds miserable. The voice especially. Like it has the possibility to be better but the voice kills it.

Jasons new band

It sounds completely different. Here's my theory. Jason was basically trying to be vivek. and it just was making him miserable. because he can't be vivek, he needed to let him go, but instead he tried to become him. and i think with this band it sounds like he's finally starting to let him go. its much more chilled out and emotional.

It's kinda sad again to be honest. When he gets other people to collaborate with him it sounds more positive. Like this you basically can tell how its meant to be. Jasons a backup musician he's not a singer. He's still singing too much. He sings twice as much as the girl. He needs to cut that down alot. because he's already doing the guitar drums and bass. The problem is if he doesn't collaborate nad play in a band he's just not playing music. Like it has this possibility of being good. But i think he kicks his own song down at certain points.

It basically sounds like rockabilly. I think Jason actually feels happy being a backup musician. I just feel like im listening to someone's dysfunctional like... uh... distraction from their own problems. I don't really feel like listening to that.

"untitled song" on deganwy's lost son

See how this's positive? Like I feel like it enriches me to listen to this.

I think I don't wanna use Deganwy's Lost Son anymore. It's kindof a bit too depressing to fit my current state of mind.
