Gorillaz - Demon Days

gorillaz sounds like shit. like there's nothing good there. its just really annoying. and just really repetative too. i dont see how anyone could really like that. its just like annoying almost. like its a guy trying to do popular music but its shitty. i never did like this album and i can see why now. but this is the band you said was awesome. so i dont think i can really trust that. It's just really shitty. I just don't see why anyone would listen to this. But i guess i can see why he does stuff with african musicians. But this isn't really my style. Like i would never record something like this. And be satisfied by it. It's really not that great. But isnt it funny thiat this has alot of fans around the world. This is Demon Days. Demon Days by fucking Gorillaz. The Gorillaz. You're the one who brought them up to me. And they suck. They're just a bunch of noise and nonsense. It's so shitty. This is not even real music. That's really annoying. This just proves that they're gimmicky. That sounds kinda cool. But I don't like the drums. And that bass sucks so much. And the rapping is so shitty too. The only part he's good at is the singing. And not the repetative shit. The drums are so crappy. I can't believe this guy got famous ever. Like its just so shitty. This is like one of his supposedly best albums too.

Massive Attack - 100th Window

That sounds awesome. Cause its got alot of sound to it. That sounds really cool too. These guys know how to make music. Like it just sounds really soothing. And it makes it interesting to speed it up. And they do great beats too. They're so much better than Gorillaz. Like Gorillaz beats are shitty. These are just like elaborate and badass. Like this part right here is one of my favorites. And speeding it up makes it more interesting. Like it works with this kinda music. This is Massive Attack. They're an old English band. They started trip-hop. Which's like a genre. But I just think that it sounds so elaborate. And they're patterns too, they're not just random. So for me it's just badass. It's funny how it sounds just as good this fast. Lets see how this one does. That sounds awesome. Really badass. That's sweet. Although it is kindof twisted. I'll definately admit that. Like... someone... written by someone insane. It doesn't seem quite right... in the head. It's kindof off. And i guess thats why it sounds shitty. It's just like... basically bread and butter trippy music. And sometimes its good and sometimes it sucks. It's like they're trying to make trippy music so they're not going to make a good song on purpose. But all they're doing is shimmery two chords back and forth. And thats not the hardest thing in the world. They shimmer it and add effects and it makes it sound trippy. And here's another two chord song. And that's kindof alright. But it's not the best thing in the world. I love the vocals. But you can tell its really well done. But its also like... very artistic... very artsy... like existential philosophers and shit. Like i wouldn't call this trip hop... i'd call this experimental music. It's basically just experimental music slowed down. And it's not even good at every part. The voice is definately good. But this song it reminds me of some of the shit I did when I was younger. And it also reminds me of experimental musicians. Like basically out there stuff that is designed to make you think weird. That's basically what this is all about. Probably has the same effect on people as religion. But in a different way. Some of it sounds like noise. They're way too repetative in alot of their songs. Although I like how they change it up a little bit. But they just go back to the same shit again after they change it up. And the synthesizers are so loud. Like they're basically raping your ears with synths. They use cool drums. Sometimes. But they're all about the shimmery shit and like massive synth. Really loud. Really simple. To me good music has to be listened to at any speed. See another massively loud synth. The drums on this one aren't that good. Just repetative and annoying. But the voice is awesome. I don't like how the chords are repetative. It kindof makes the music not as cool. It kindof ruins their songs to have the same two chords every song. But they still have some cool parts every now and then. If they made more chords and they kept the better beats it would be better. They have good ideas with the vocals, and then they have parts where single notes do really cool parts. It's kindof like a retarded orchestra. Where they can only do two chords. But they have an amazing soloist or something. That just sounds weird. But that sounds really awesome too. But you can see how they're purposely trying to make it trippy. The two chord thing kinda sucks.

Spacehog - Resident Alien

see spacehog seem to be a band where they just copy other people. theyre so focused on copying other people that they dont make good music. they dont focus on the music they focus on imitation. and thats their weakpoint. when they arent just being themselves. so i guess a lesson from these guys is be yourself. because theyre a good bunch of people but they didnt make good music. and thats basically why theyre called one hit wonders. you have to do your own thing and thats what you use to make your music. otherwise if youre consumed by wanting to imitate youll never really see your full potential.
