i like this song. i used to listen to the walkmen's albums all the time, the frist two specifically, i didnt really like the other ones much but they were there so hey. anyhow yeah the walkmen they were pretty great. i got to see them when they came to the basment and they did a great job. the singer is always top notch and i walked away inspired like i used to when i listend to their discs years ago. they sitll played the song the rat. so anyhow ina post wwalkmen show haze i came home and was of course implanted with the seed of perhaps doing a walkmen cover in the next weeks. finally i sat down learnt this song and played it. the vocals i think came out well i kinda got some of the raspyness of his voice and the guys voice is definately one i admire the most of the voices ive heard so i was definatelyg lad to get the oppertunity to try a waklmen song and yeah i was definately pleased to hear the result as well because now there's a walkmen cover with my voice on it out there. i might upload it to the internet its already on mybloop but i think maybe youtube for more traffic. anyhow yeah. it was great to do and i was glad to do it and i might do more walkmen covers in the future. its always great to get an oppertunity to emulate someone you admire and i definately admire teh singing ovoice of the walkemsn lead singer.
